Incredible! Formerly just available on DVD, the release of the Basics books & lectures by Mr. David Miscavige has now become available on-line, and in-full.
The release of the Basics was, in my mind, one of the single most important and significant moments in Scientology history, as it signified the first time that just anyone could simply – by reading books – know all of the basics of the Scientology religion – and know it better than many who had been involved for years.
If you haven’t yet seen this presentation, and wish to get a tour through what makes Scientology tick – and in the process get an appreciation for how much work Mr. David Miscavige put into making sure that the Basics were precisely what L. Ron Hubbard intended – watch the video here.

Is the Church of Scientology becoming a church persecuted? Why? And! For what reasons?
From a short paragraph introducing Scientology comes a great example of Religious Freedom…As left to the individual.
“In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith. That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true. An individual discovers for himself that Scientology works by personally applying its principles and observing or experiencing results.”
Concept Complex? No! A clear paragraph…Yes.
With the violence in the Middle East and the confusion of all formal and Conservative views of Faith that must be followed and the “Make your money my Money” paradigm; Formal Religion is most sick from inside to outside and now to the Sexual Abuse scandal Rocking and Rolling thru the Catholic Church.
Narrow minds and stupidity are persecuting Scientology. Why? And! May Respect and Understanding and Peace and Love be with all of us

Hi! I am happy Scientologists are on the Internet and LOOKING! I am an Independent Scientologist if you can accept the term!
Real Life being the application field of the philosophy of Scientology, is an Ogjective that cannot be ignored and actually it’s the testing ground of any doctrines claiming to pursue Truth.
Scientologists therefore should LOOK more and fight for that right S this is something which is lost in the church where you are told where to look and where not to look.
Theo – I’ll agree with you that real life is where Scientology is meant to be applied and that it is indeed the testing ground of any doctrine which attempts to pursue truth. Scientologists indeed should look, as well and fight for what’s right. So I’m glad you’re happy that Scientologists are out there doing such.
As far as “independent Scientologist” – I accept that term if it means that you want to just be yourself and apply Scientology to your life. That’s anyone’s right with Scientology, and is really the purpose of having the entirety of the Basics released in a form that anyone can consume and understand and apply to their own lives, in their own homes.
But if being an “independent Scientologist” means that you ignore large sections of policy so as to be able to stay “independent” — i.e. policy on handing injustices, policy on reporting & getting handled outnesses you find, etc — well, I would then prefer such people be called “individuated Scientologist” as that term would be more appropriate.
